At Portland Stage there are many ways to subscribe and save. And by subscribing you will be there to see every production – the incredible sets, the marvelous actors, the scripts that make you laugh and cry. Subscribing means you will never miss the play that everyone is talking about

Plays & Events

Portland Stage produces a variety of plays and events throughout the year. From well know plays to new works, written by both well-known playwrights and new voices. Presented in our mainstage season, the annual From Away and The Little Festival of the Unexpected, to staged readings of works by both local, national and international authors and playwrights.

Gift Tickets

Live theater makes a great gift.

Choose a gift option that best meets your needs, you can choose from a Ticket Sampler or a FlexPass Subscription.

Each gift option is packaged in a greeting card reading “A Gift For You” on the outside, with instructions for redeeming on the inside.

Portland Stage does not offer cash value gift certificates.

Group Sales

A group theater outing with friends, family, or coworkers is a perfect way to celebrate, indulge, or simply enjoy a great performance. With a group of 10 or more people we offer group discounts starting at 20% off the regular ticket price.

Frequently Asked Questions

Due to rehearsal, technical & performance schedules, the theater is not available for walk-in viewing.

All ticket orders placed 10 days or fewer before the performance date are held at the “Will Call” window.

For orders placed more than 10 days prior to the performance date:

  • Phone Orders will be mailed to you, unless you need to present a coupon or ID as part of your order.
  • Internet Orders will be mailed, unless you select the delivery method as “Will Call”.

“Will Call” is a term used by box offices to indicate that tickets are being held at the Box Office. Tickets are available for pick-up anytime the Box Office is open.

Ticket exchanges are one of the exclusive member benefits. All individual ticket sales are final. There are no ticket changes and no refunds.

All tickets can be reprinted by either calling the Box Office on the day of the show or coming to the Box Office at least 20 minutes before curtain.

Return your tickets to the Box Office prior to the ticket performance date, and Portland Stage will issue you a tax credit for the face value of the unused tickets.

Everyone must have a ticket. No babes in arms.
