Portland Stage delivers a performance that not only showcases her folly, but also her heart, determination and unabashed love of music.

A full-throated comedy with music about amateur soprano Florence Foster Jenkins, whose famously tone-deaf recitals delighted audiences all the while she believed herself an operatic diva. Told by Jenkins’ long-suffering accompanist, Souvenir is a comedic and heartfelt reflection on the limits of perception and the sometimes curious rewards of following your dreams.
