Individual and Family Giving
Since its founding in 1974, Portland Stage has been embraced by a generous community of donors committed to supporting theater arts in Maine. Each year, more than 55% of all contributions to Portland Stage come from individuals and families. Individual and Family donors who make contributions of $50 to $499.

The Understudies
Understudies members provide significant support for the theater with annual gifts of $500 or more. Depending on gift level, Understudies-exclusive benefits may include invitations to First Read Through of the script, Open Rehearsals, and other special events. Call Risa Bridges-Hall, Director of Development, at 207-774-1043 ext. 109 for more information.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Portland Stage applies all employer matching gifts towards the individual donor's benefit levels. Some companies provide this benefit for both current employees and retirees. A corporate matching gift may advance you to a higher donor level. Please check with your human resources representative to see if your company matches employee gifts.
