Directions & Parking

Parking


Parking is available, at several garages within a few blocks of the theater.  
There is also on-street parking within walking distance of the theater.
On-street parking is free after 6pm and all day on Sundays and holidays. 
Portland Stage does not own its own parking lot and is unable to provide
free or subsidized parking.

 PLEASE NOTE:  If you are attending on the the same night as the First Friday of the Art Walk or the Final Thursday 2pm Matinee, please allow extra time to find parking and get to your seats before the show starts.

DIRECTIONS 

From the South:
• I-95 North to exit 44 - I-295 North
• I-295 North to exit 6A- Forest Avenue South
• Stay on Forest Avenue through 4 traffic lights
• After 4th traffic light Portland Stage is the 4th building on the left
(in the Portland Performing Arts Center - 25A Forest Ave.)

From the North:
• I-95 South to exit 52 (or Route 1) to I-295 South
• I-295 South to exit 6A - Forest Avenue South
• Stay on Forest Avenue through 4 traffic lights
• After 4th traffic light Portland Stage is the 4th building on the left
(in the Portland Performing Arts Center - 25A Forest Ave.)

From the West:
• From Windham area:
• US-302 east to Portland
• In Portland US-302 turns into Forest Avenue
• after the I-295 overpass, Stay on Forest Avenue through 4 traffic lights
• After 4th traffic light Portland Stage is the 4th building on the left
(in the Portland Performing Arts Center - 25A Forest Ave.)

From the Gorham area:
• Take ME-25 to Park Ave. in Portland
• Turn left onto Park Avenue
• At the 4th traffic light, take a right onto Forest Avenue
• After the next traffic light Portland Stage is the 4th building on the left
