Facility

PORTLAND STAGE - located at 25A Forest Avenue, Portland Maine, includes a Main Stage Theater and a Studio Theater.
Both performance spaces are located on the 2nd floor of the Portland Stage building.

THE MAIN STAGE
A 288 seat procenium theater, 
with tiered seating and a lobby
with a concessions area. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

THE STUDIO THEATER
A 60-75 seat, 3/4 thrust black box theater. 
This is a general admission venue with seating locations on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.

 

Restrooms - located on the second floor across from the stairs.

Coatroom - located on the second floor, to the left of the entrance to the main lobby. The coatroom is unattended. Portland Stage is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Smoking - is not permitted inside the Portland Stage building. Ashtrays are located outside the front doors to the building.

Elevator- located behind the ground level staircase, beside the Box Office. The elevator may be taken to the 2nd floor only, and does not access the rear section of the Main Stage Theater.
