The curtain is going up...
on a summer filled with the excitement and magic of theater!
At Portland Stage Theater Camp students use the creative process
to express themselves and collaborate with others

Our week long theater camps involve fun,
challenging and enriching activities,
through which students learn to
use their bodies, voices, minds and imaginations.

Each session promotes social skills such as
active listening, teamwork and turn-taking
in an environment that facilitates creative expression.
Using classic literature, modern favorites, adventure stories,
and fairytales as springboards, children will take
imaginative journeys to faraway lands!

Affiliate artists lead students in theme-based explorations
that develop children’s ability to work as an ensemble, improve focus,
concentration, and active listening skills
while also encouraging spontaneity and creativity.

Camps are structured to provide students
with a variety of workshops on
becoming an actor, developing a stage presence,
working from a text, practicing improvisation, stage combat
and much more.

Sign up for one week session or for all 3.
Each week will cover different elements and materials.
Every session culiminates in a
performance.

Children are responsible for bringing their own lunches and snacks.

Camp registration is open for all 3 sessions.
